Instead of infusing the ISO into the drive by formatting it and creating the bootable header, this app only transfers the custom boot micro app on the drive. The procedure of getting Ventoy up and running on an external USB drive is simple. With this approach, Ventoy has embraced portability over the ease of use, enabling seasoned PC users and technicians to have easy access to this valuable app on portable drives when moving from one PC to another. Instead of automatically booting just a single ISO file like almost all other boot managers force users to do, Ventoy will first showcase a list of available ISO files, enabling users to pick which one is to be loaded! Ventoy is distributed online not as an automated installer, but as a compressed ZIP archive that users have to manually unpack anywhere on their local or external storage. Even better, this app allows users to select as many ISO files they want to add to the USB drive, making them all instantly accessible on boot after a simple reset of a home, school, or work computer. By using this approach, the creators of Ventoy have enabled PC users from all around the world to simplify the process of creation of bootable USB drives and make them perfectly usable outside of the booting procedure for regular USB use. Ventoy is a FREE open-source boot management utility that enables Windows PC users of all knowledge levels to create bootable USB sticks, SSD, NVMe, and SD Cards carrying any operating system ISO container, without the need to format the drive beforehand.

![]() We saw a Royal Delphin bus leave the bus stop but that was 45 minutes before we were told to be there ( we arrived super early). Initially we were annoyed as we booked on the Monday for the 3 hour tour, the bus never showed. All in all a fabulous trip with a few shots of free rum on the cruise back. The staff are great and guide Johan is so knowledgeable and speaks many languages, definitely worth paying attention to. People also tend to head to the outside upper decks but there are some fabulous views at the then quieter deck below. However if you are patient and stay on the opposite side the skipper does turn the boat around slowly so you can get some fantastic views from the other side of you are prepared to hang on a few minutes. ![]() The trip does get busy and people tend to flock to the side of the boat where whales and dolphins are spotted. We then headed out and watched bottle nosed dolphins and then further out again to see families of pilot whales. We stopped there for swimming before back on board for food which was plentiful, as were the unlimited free drinks. I saw quite a few tourists feeling sick and throwing up, although the ocean was not rough.Īll in all, a sweet-sour experience. Nothing wow, if you want to see dolphins or orcas you better go to Loro Parque. There are several stops where you can see the dorsal fins of some pilot whales (in fact, some bigger dolphins). It continues until Los Gigantes rocks, then follows the return. The journey begins with lunch (Spartan.), served shortly after departure, then a stop for a swim in the ocean (about 30 minutes, if I remember well). There is free sangria and orange juice throughout the trip. ![]() Lunch, simple, many of us ate it standing with the plate in our arms, there are no tables for all those on board. If this would be OK for a transportation type trip from point A to point B, for a cruise it is not very pleasant to be cramped. ![]() The ship is not very big and it was much too crowded for our taste. Afterwards, they walk with them printed among the tourists, trying to sell them to you. In 1941 the Uniform Regulations were modified to permit a service member to wear the submarine insignia for the duration of his career, once so authorized. We purchased the "4'5H Dolphin & Whale Watching - Los Gigantes Masca - Lunch & Swim" trip from them. The right to wear the pin was revoked if the service member transferred to a non-submarine billet. Originally, the submarine insignia was to be worn by officers and men qualified in submarine duty only when attached to submarine units or submarine command organizations. To earn the right to wear the pin, prospective submariners complete an extensive qualification process that lasts about one year (for both enlisted and officers, though the two programs differ significantly) and covers virtually all of the submarine's systems. Another way of looking at it might be that a person's nutritional status affects his or her optimal situation. The presented model could be interpreted as the nutritional status is conditional to a person's optimal function or situation. This model visualizes the complexity of the nutritional status in elderly people. We propose a nutritional status model that presents nutritional status from a comprehensive functional perspective. In elderly people, assessment of nutritional status is complex and is complicated by multi-morbidity and disabilities combined with nutrition-related problems, such as dysphagia, decreased appetite, fatigue, and muscle weakness. Hence, there is also no definition of what constitutes an adequate nutritional status. There is no accepted or standardized definition of 'malnutrition'. Further issues relate to the identification of the genetics determinants of protein energy wasting in elderly. According to present data, healthy nutrition in elderly should respect the guidelines for protein and energy requirement, privilege a Mediterranean way of alimentation, and be associated with a regular physical activity. The importance of physical activity, specifically resistance training, is emphasized, not only in order to facilitate muscle protein anabolism but also to increase appetite and food intake in elderly people at risk of malnutrition. nutrition, physical activity, anabolic factors such as androgens, vitamin D and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids status, needs to be tested in the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia. ![]() An integrated management of sarcopenia, taking into account the determinants of muscle wasting, i.e. ![]() Besides these quantitative aspects of protein load, perspective strategies to promote muscle protein synthesis and prevent sarcopenia include pulse feeding, the use of fast proteins and the addition of leucine or citrulline to dietary protein. I told both these friends, seconds apart that I failed again to reach 40 days … because I was going to stop when I got to the First class lounge at the airport. … within a few minutes of my mental decision to stop my fast, I received a WhatsApp message from a close friend in America who I told “it looks like I failed to achieve my 40 day fast again…” and this friend teased me, and told me how terrible I looked … and he told me “eat!!!.”Īt the same time, within seconds of each other, I got a WhatsApp from Matt MacDonald, a close friend of mine who lives in Abu Dhabi, but unlike the other friend, Matt is an endurance athlete and a RAW vegan … and he is incredibly fit.
